You Do You: Finding Success in Our Classes
One of the best things about Pilates is that it truly meets you where you are. In every class, we offer layers and options for each exercise so that you can choose what feels right for your body. Success doesn’t mean taking the hardest version or advancing just to keep up with the person next to you. Success means moving with control, focusing on form, and walking out of class feeling good.
Your body is unique — and so is your Pilates journey. Sometimes the “simpler” option is actually the one that helps you get the most benefit. When you listen to your body and stay present in the movement, you’ll build more strength and confidence than if you push past where you’re ready to be.
That’s why our instructors are here: to support you, to offer options, and to help you leave class feeling successful.
Remember, you’re always in charge of your spring tension. Red springs are the heaviest, the blue spring is half the tension of red, and the white spring, the lightest, is about three-quarters of a red. Adjust them in a way that feels right for you.
At the end of the day, Pilates isn’t about comparison — it’s about connection. When you choose the layer that feels best for your body, you’ll not only progress safely, but you’ll also discover the joy of moving with confidence and ease.
